Above are two of my trusty companions: Charles Darwin bobble head and Thermo ducky. One is my partner at the bench, and the other a motivator in my cluttered office. Together, we ride into the sunset as another new dawn unfolds.
Any impassioned scientist can list the countless hours invested in the pursuit of knowledge. Some are fueled, by their genuine curiosity and passion on the subject, others by their egotism and, others still by the scent of fame and fortune. And if one enlists the aid of the all seeing eye, there will be yet another, seen chasing duckies in the parking lot. To whomever said scientists were boring social inepts: clearly, we have ever met.
